Pricing
PocketNotes is free on your device, forever. The paid plans exist for one reason: keeping your notes in sync across devices costs us something to run.
Monthly pricing. Billing opens at launch — nothing is purchasable yet.

Questions, answered plainly
Is the free plan actually free?
Yes. Every writing, media, search, and organization feature runs on your device and costs nothing. Free is not a trial.
What am I paying for with Sync?
Servers. Sync keeps your notes identical across your devices, backs them up, and powers web access and share links. That infrastructure is the only thing behind the paywall.
Can I use PocketNotes without an account?
Yes — that’s the default. An account only exists if you turn on sync.
Can I leave?
Any time. Export your notes as Markdown in a ZIP and take them anywhere. No lock-in is a feature, not a slogan.
When can I subscribe?
Billing opens at launch, alongside the apps — and the local app will always be free.
